Reason: I hit several long distance shots in most of my sessions (sometimes even with a common musket). I prefer to keep them far away and dead, instead of a musket stuck in my back.

Sniping both close up or from a long distance is an effective and infuriating to the melee people, definitely deserve the Sniper medal. Congrats!
