I know we've had our differences and I trolled you a little. Maybe I shouldn't have done that.

For example, Marth is an ugly guy who has a shit and lonely life + he's broke. And rather than treat him well and with compassion I trolled and baited him. A bit insensitive of me, I admit.

Same goes for Sam. Abusing his admin powers, insulting everyone around him, banning me unfairly, etc. He too is obviously a very ugly, sad man who has no friends, no girlfriends, and must be struggling financially on top of all that.

At the time I thought it would be funny to treat these people as a joke but the more I thought about it the more I realized that maybe I should have had more compassion and understanding.

I mean let's be real here. What can Marth and Sam do about the fact that they are broke? It's very hard to become wealthy and turn your life around. I myself am very privileged in that regard so I will never truly understand what they go through in their day-to-day life, struggling to pay their rent, bills, and afford food.

What about the fact that they are ugly? I have seen it many times before how I get treated vs how other ugly men get treated by people. It is very unfair and pretty sad. Because what can someone like Marth and Sam do about the fact that they are ugly? There's not much, unfortunately.

And the more I thought about it the more I realized that for some people there is no hope in life and all they can really do is spend the rest of their life rotting in an online game, become admin and feel some pleasure from that. I do not fully understand that. I cannot relate to that. But I try not to be biased and close-minded and after a careful analysis I concluded that yes, even though Marth and Sam were dicks, I was not entirely innocent either.

In an ideal, fair world I wouldn't have to make this request because I did not really do enough to warrant a perma mute.

But I admit that I should have just ignored Marth altogether to stay out of harm's way. Same with Sam. Should have ignored him because he was clearly unstable judging by his blatant admin abuse that went on last year.
