Pacifist[Rejected] Kruse making an unlawful kick against me
#3
Just to be sure, do you think it is against the written rules to leave for example as a medic your units near friendly arty and going to friendly lines to heal them? The screening rule dont apply because it is defined as "GOING TO THE ENEMY FLANK to disattract the enemy", which is not the case if you go to friendly lines to heal them.

Quote:We as admins can not have specific rules for every event. Medics are a newer addition to the server, situations may come up that have not been encountered before. Kruse told you four times to bring your troops, and you chose not to.
What specific negative situation have I caused as a medic? I assume you mean screening. There is a rule about screening and it is defined as:

"Means that if you go to the enemy flank without your unit will make the enemy line aim at you and thus distract them from aiming at a much more important enemy."

and not "going away from your unit" otherwise it would have been written differently, so for that it doesn't require a new specific rules, you would have to change the meaning of an already existing rule.

Also Kruse made the demand very early, I think 1 or 2 minutes after the start fo the map, on a huge map and there was not any player complaining about anything despite there were around 20 players also if you look at the admin message of Kruse he said something like "stop going towards the enemy to disattract their lines" he said I need to be with my unit, which shows that it is very unlikely that a negative situation occured. I understand that sometimes there aren't any rules for a specific event and admins have to act but then it requires that it is actually having a huge impact and that it causes an unfair advantage which is not the case with medics going alone without their unit. Actually everytime you go with a line there is a potential for distattracting the enemy because you as the commander are faster than your bots which can cause the enemy to target that sole commander instead of those highly packed infantry bots. There are also other sources of disattraction which admins do and pretty much every player when they play that specific class without admins doing anything, for example if you are a rocketman and you are the most forward player, the enemy will target you and your rocket launcher gives you cover so most of the shoots will be blocked by that rocket launcher which disattracts enemy lines from shooting at targets that they could actaully harm. Or if you have just 1 or 2 mounted bot and you run around(even without the intention to disattract the enemy but just to get the best position from where you can act as cav) you disattract the enemy into shooting you despite you are much harder to actually hit than lines. So I don't see why you need to go beyond the rules and demand that specifically medics always stick to their own unit because it could potentinally disattract the enemy despite there are so many other sources of disttraction that are simply a part of the game. Also I don't think it is inauthentic or abusing game mechanics if you go alone as a medic to heal your friendly lines.

Quote:This being said, you did not include the further evidence that you have. The logs show what is said in the chat.

I think it should be rather the admin to provide evidences to prove I am guilty and not that I as a player have to provide evidences that im innocent. Also as stated above, if you look at the time the first demand was made from Kruse, the size of the map, no player complaining about me disattracting enemey lines, it indicates that I didn't caused a negative situation because I went away from my units. I wonder if you even talked to Kruse? Did he say I went alone to the enemy lines to disattract/attack them? I don't think he would lie like that, so I wonder why you assume that I did such a thing and make the kick as you said "justified".
