I usually play cavalry, you know, so I’m also affected by the constraint of the lone cav rule. As an admin, I let cavalry players make their way back to allied infantry. There are two cases where I step in:
- if the player keeps attacking (rambo) or I consider that their movements are meant to disrupt the infantry = slay
- when I'm busy, if other players report it to me or if I spot a lone cavalryman myself, I ask them to dismount without specifying that they can return to their allies
